From academic to industry to academic again. Ma Kalthum was a legal officer in Pusat Inovasi Kolaboratif, UKM where she is heavily involved in drafting agreements and negotiating with business partners to commercialize UKM’s Intellectual Property. She has experience in working with a legal firm focusing on conveyancing matters. She attained her PhD in Business and Human Rights focusing on the responsibility of oil and gas companies. She now serves UTM as a senior lecturer teaching intellectual property law and commercial law.
