Dr. Yeap Chun Keat is a senior lecturer at the Academy of Language Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Melaka, Malaysia. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Studies from the University of Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia, in 2005. In 2007, he earned a Master’s degree in Library & Information Science from the University of Malaya, Malaysia, and in 2012, he completed his PhD in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics in Foreign Languages (Mandarin) from Minzu University of China, China. His research interests include Chinese Ontology, Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, Chinese Education Research, Language Learning Motivation, and Direct and Indirect Language Learning Strategies.
