JUWILYN P. BALANSAG is an accomplished educator and researcher based in Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental, Philippines. With a strong commitment to personal and professional growth, she is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum Development and Instructional Design at Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology. She holds a Master of Arts in Education from Saint Columban College and a Bachelor in Elementary Education from La Salle University in Ozamiz City.
Juwilyn has built a distinguished career in education, presently working with the Department of Education Division of Ozamiz City. Her professional experience includes experience as a secondary school teacher at the Misamis Institute of Technology and as a reviewer for the International Journal of Research and Innovation in Social Science. She is recognized for her dedication to research, having presented at the 5th NMSC Research Congress, Department of Education Division and regional research conference and published internationally.
Her achievements include being named Most Outstanding Multigrade Teacher in the Division of Ozamiz, Most Outstanding Teacher in the Key Stage 2 Category at the district level, and Most Outstanding ALS Implementer in 2022 District Level. Juwilyn is also a certified high-impact inspirational speaker, a module and learning activity sheet writer, and a teacher-researcher at both divisional and regional levels.
Known for her strong communication skills, teamwork, discipline, and ability to work under pressure, Juwilyn is a research enthusiast and a fast learner.
