Dr. Edna Jemutai Moi is a trainer and researcher in the field of leadership and governance, public policy, and administration. She has 19 years of work experience. Her current research project is on the Kenyatta University Women Economic Empowerment (KU-WEE) sponsored by the Bill and Melinda Foundation, the concept of women in corporate governance where she engages different stakeholders for governance. The aim is to Increase the number of women participating in corporate governance by 30% by 2025. She is also currently a
lecturer in the Department of Public Policy and Administration and an External examiner for Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology(JKUAT) Leadership and Governance. She does community service including sitting on schools and TVET boards. She is a member of the African Association for Public Administration and Management (AAPAM). She is a visiting lecturer in exchange programs with collaborating universities. She has been conducting her own research and has worked as a research assistant in developing content, research tools, analysis, and interpretations for various research projects. She holds a Ph.D. in leadership and governance, a Master of Public Policy and Administration, and a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. With such experiences and learning, she has built her interest in conducting research and training on inclusive governance leaving no one behind. In her research, conferences, publications, and training she has cultivated her mentorship skills, especially for women and youth. she continues to consult for startup programs both local and international in favor of inclusive society. Edna is open to consultation and collaboration to achieve her goals.
